The Trưng sisters (c. 12 – c. AD 43) were Vietnamese military leaders who rebelled against Chinese rule for three years, and are regarded as national heroines of Vietnam. Their names were Trưng Trắc (徵側) and Trưng Nhị (徵貳).
I've affixed and finished a paper image of a historical work of art believed to depict the Trung Sisters, to a piece of jewelry weight tin.
Next, I've copper leafed the edges of the finished image. The finishing product creates a water repellant, UV resistant finish with an oil painting like look and texture.
The finished image measures about 1 1/2 inches by 2 1/4 inches.
Questions are always welcome.
